We took a trip to the Cabin in Duck Creek this weekend, and it was a really fun trip! We started out thinking that there was going to be a pretty big crowd, but for some reason or another it dwindled down to our family and Jackie and Mateo.
We made it up on Thursday night and spent a somewhat lazy day around the cabin, and out sledding around the house. Connor and Mateo spent about 2 hours outside playing in the snow. We made a snowman, and thankfully the weather was really warm. A lot of snow melted over the weekend we were there.
Saturday we headed to Brianhead, and skied. Connor and Mateo spent the day in skiing class, and Mateo became a little semi-pro skier! When I took Connor up the bunny hill, I soon found out that he had no idea what a "pizza" was, so I ended up holding him between my my own pizza legs the whole way down. When he screamed, "I want to go again" I feared that we might not make it down again, but I brought him up knowing I did not know when we would get the chance to do this again. All of us enjoyed the day, especially considering that the crowd was not very big!
Today we packed up and headed home. The boys played around the cabin - mainly Mario games - and we sadly waved goodbye to a great, relaxing weekend!
